Pharmilink History
The Physicians’ Pharmilink service was launched by Pharmilink Healthcare Marketing Services (a division of Positive Fulfillment Services Ltd.) in early 1998. The mandate was to work with pharmaceutical companies and doctors to develop a sampling platform that would far exceed anything that was being offered at that time. To accomplish this Pharmilink assembled a team highly skilled in marketing, data management and mining, as well as the management and fulfillment of pharmaceutical products.
Eleven years later we have a physician member base of over 40,000, a remarkable client base of major pharmaceutical companies and have just completed the mailing go four 31st sample catalog, offering a wide range of valuable projects. In addition we have a new, fully licensed facility supported by our Quality Assurance department and trained operations staff.
Over this period, we have successfully executed the original mandate by being the first to implement the following
- Compile the largest and most up to date database of actively practicing physicians
- Set up a PIN driven member base
- Implement customized order forms
- Establish a web site with on line ordering available to our member physicians
- Variable sampling
- Highly targeted sampling within the Physicians' Pharmilink Program
- Data collection and mining

Pharmilink is all about selling SERVICE. As such, maintaining the highest levels of quality service is our primary objective. PHMS employs a full-time Quality Assurance Manager who oversees our Quality System, which includes among other things; proven Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and effective employee training programs.

Conveniently located in the heart of Canada's distribution centre, PHMS's main facility is located where Hwys 427 and 407 intersect. For distribution within Canada, there is no place that can service more points in Canada, more cost effectively or with more next-day deliveries than PHMS's location.
Our warehouse is a secure, modern facility that boasts a multi-partitioned DVAC alarm system, 24/7 video surveillance system, and secure lockup & quarantine caged areas.
